It gives me great plasure to announce that Diana Vickers official debut single Once, has been C-Listed already - over a month ahead of the release. This is great news for Diana, as with the radio support along with promotion, it's sure to be a hit!

Diana Vickers has said that Eoghan Quigg's self-titled debut album "was what it was".

The 2008 X Factor contestants were rumoured to have had a fling during their time on the show, though Quigg later denied the reports.

Speaking about Quigg's much-maligned record, Vickers told DS: "He was totally aware that the album was going to be quite quick and he agreed to do the covers and stuff.

"It was sort of a memorial thing of The X Factor and I think it was a really good Mother's Day little thing. He was totally aware what was going on, he was totally aware what the album was for."

She added: "I enjoyed it! It had some really good little covers on there and it was what it was really. It was perfectly fine - it was good."

Diana Vickers has said that she will try to "tame" her trademark "claw" during her upcoming live dates.

The singer attracted attention for her infamous hand gesture during her time on The X Factor in 2008 but told MyBliss that she would try to rein it in.

Vickers said: "The claw - oh God, it's just this! I don't even know why I do it, I have no idea. I literally just go free when I'm singing and I do really weird things.

"I haven't even sung live for ages as me, as Diana, so there might be some new movements popping up somewhere. I don't know, we'll see."

She added: "I'm going to try to tame the beast, definitely. It is quite aggravating, it's like me, and my friend, so it's a bit distracting!"

Vickers plays a string of concerts in March ahead of the release of her debut album, with further dates also booked for May.

The full tracklisting for Diana Vickers's debut album has been revealed.

Songs From The Tainted Cherry Tree is released on April 26 and will be preceded by the single 'Once' a week earlier.

Vickers wrote on her Twitter page: "We finalised the tracklisting for my album yesterday! wooo hooo! :D"

She later added: "I'm lying in bed restless thinking about this... why ?"

Over the weekend our very own Miss Diana Vickers was crowned The Dewynters London Newcomer of the Year at the WhatsOnStage.com theatre Awards!

Up against the likes of Lenny Henry, Jamie Winstone and Nicholas Hoult, Diana won the prestigious gong for her sparkling role as LV in The Rise and Fall of Little Voice.

Diana was amongst a special list of stage stars who walked away with awards on the night, including Jude Law, Rowan Atkinson, Rachel Weisz and Patrick Stewart!

Apologies for the lack of updates, but boy have we got loads to catch up on! For starters, Diana has confirmed release dates for her album and single. The debut single, titled Once is available from download and physically on 19th April 2010, with the as of yet untitled debut album available a week after! If that's not enough, she is also headlining her own promotional tour of the UK, kicking off in MARCH! Tickets are already sold out, so if you were lucky enough to get some (we were!) then have fun!
