X Factor contestants Diana Vickers and Ruth Lorenzo have been accused of acting like divas at a gig in Southport.

Vickers, 17, and Spaniard Lorenzo, 25, who were playing a show at the Banks Leisure Centre, arrived in separate cars and with their own entourages, according to The Mirror.

"I couldn't believe their antics," said a source. "It was a tad excessive - after all they have only been famous for five minutes!"

Lorenzo would apparently not leave her dressing room until it was "warmed up with a convector heater", while Vickers insisted on having "extra comfortable chairs" and "honey and lukewarm water" available.

Diana Vickers's ex-boyfriend Chris Jones has said that the X Factor finalist is not in love with Eoghan Quigg.

Speaking to Heat, university student Jones admitted that he and Vickers have split, but denied that it was because of X Factor contestant Quigg.

"I don't know if we will get back together or not," Jones said. "Diana hasn't told me she is in love with Eoghan, so I'm really not sure what's going on.

"It's awful because everywhere I go, all of my mates - and people I've never met - know everything that's happened between me and Diana. That's quite hard to deal with."

X Factor chief Simon Cowell described Vickers and Quigg as "two kids in love" earlier this month.

X FACTOR reject Diana Vickers has been beaten to a recording contract by her best pal.

Charlotte O’Connor, 18, has signed a four album deal with Columbia and heard the news while visiting Diana, 17.

The pair, from Blackburn, Lancs, were chatting about Diana’s reality telly experience when she received the call.

Charlotte said: “My family are really happy and proud.”

Diana Vickers has revealed that a dog would be her ideal Christmas present.

However, the X Factor finalist admitted that she may find herself too busy to look after the pet properly.

She said: "I want a dog, I really want a dog for Christmas. But I don't know whether I am going to be busy, whether that would be practical. Lots of clothes, as well. And a good book."

Despite rumours of a romance with fellow X Factor contestant Eoghan Quigg, Vickers recently confirmed that she will spend Christmas with her boyfriend, university student Chris Jones.

DIANA Vickers denied reports she's dating fellow finalist Eoghan Quigg when the Post spoke to her at Oceana on The Kingsway on Wednesday night.
She exclusively revealed: "We're not dating at all. He's in Ireland and I'm in England most of the time.
"I'm just working hard and doing my own thing. I'll obviously be keeping in contact with him now the show's over, though."
And Diana said she had no plans to record a version of Hallelujah despite wowing judges with it at the boot camp stages.
She said: "That's Alex's song now, so I don't think I should go back to the past. I wouldn't release it."

Ruth Lorenzo has revealed that she thinks fellow X Factor contestants Eoghan Quigg and Diana Vickers would make a good couple.

The teenagers have been romantically linked since the live shows began and were spotted kissing after Saturday's final.

Lorenzo said: "They are best friends, we always see them together, they're always joking around or if one or the other misses their families. They're the same age, same situation so they really get along. It would be so cute for them to be together."

Spanish singer Lorenzo also dismissed speculation that X Factor boss Simon Cowell fancies her, saying: "Simon Cowell is just such a flirt. He's a very nice guy.

"All the flirting has been on camera. I thought it was quite interesting and quite good as well. No flirting off camera, no. Always very professional, always."

Diana Vickers has denied cheating on her boyfriend with X Factor contestant Eoghan Quigg.

Speaking to Heat, Vickers insisted that she and university student Chris Jones are still an item although their relationship is "not really strong at the moment".

The 17-year-old said: "At the end of the day, I'm not a liar. I'll tell him everything to do with me and Eoghan and I'd never cheat on anyone in my life. I know that people get hurt and I'd never do that to Chris.

"We speak a lot, and although we're not really strong at the moment, we have to see what will happen in the future..."
